Fluent in Spanish, Tania has dove deep into the Tijuana border and covered the migrant caravan, immigrant stories of asylum, and human smuggling. The Cessna 340A crashed around 12:15 p.m., according to the Federal Aviation Administration. The plane started its flight from Yuma Arizona and was headed to Montgomery Field in San Diego, said county spokesperson Donna Durckel.
