Thrill to the electrifying experience of an important moment in music history when Santana took the stage at the US Festival in San Bernardino, California, in 1982. Featuring the hits “Black Magic Woman,” Gypsy Queen,” and “Oye Como Va.”
  • Friday, Dec. 1, 2023 at 9 p.m. on KPBS 2 / Stream now with the PBS App + Encore Sunday, Dec. 3 at 3 p.m. on KPBS 2. This concert was recorded at Macon, Georgia’s historic Grand Opera House and Capricorn Sound Studios. Conducted by Ward Stare, the program features three of Georgia’s most well-known musicians: R.E.M. founding member and Macon native Mike Mills; former Allman Brothers Band member and current Rolling Stones keyboardist Chuck Leavell; and internationally renowned violin soloist and Macon native Robert McDuffie. The program includes songs from Otis Redding, Ray Charles, the Allman Brothers Band, R.E.M., Outkast, the B-52s, and Brook Benton.

Miller’s Mohican name is Fush-Ya Heay Aka (meaning "bird song"), and his songs have been deeply spiritual, exploring his Christian faith in his indigenous language while bridging cultures around the world with his signature sound.

She addresses the annual 635 billion dollars cost of pain, whether that’s through lost work, productivity, disability or healthcare expenses. She also discusses how pain is not only directly correlated to physicality but influenced by emotions, behaviors, social factors and more.

This quirky New Zealand mystery follows DI Mike Shepherd, who arrives to the seemingly peaceful town of Brokenwood with a classic car, a country music collection, and an indeterminate number of ex-wives. His assistant, DC Kristin Sims, is a by-the-book investigator 15 years younger than her boss's car. Shepherd soon discovers that Brokenwood is full of secrets and suspicions.

Honoring the heritage, unity, culture, and rich contributions of African Americans, Kwanzaa is more than just a celebration; it's a way of life. This documentary explores the seven principles that are the foundation of Kwanzaa by sharing seven real-life stories of impact. These stories reveal how each principle plays a role in the Black community, enhanced by cultural elements of dance, storytelling, music, and spoken word.
