The "Rounder Records 40th Anniversary Special" is a gala featuring the best and brightest stars from the Rounder roster. Film and television star Minnie Driver hosts this spectacular star-studded variety concert with Robert Plant and Alison Krauss, Steve Martin, Mary Chapin Carpenter, Alison Krauss & Union Station, Madeleine Peyroux, "Soul Queen of New Orleans" Irma Thomas, Bela Fleck, and Nathan & The Zydeco Cha Chas.

Additional guests include fast-rising star Abigail Washburn, R&B pianist Henry Butler and Grammy-winning musician Jerry Douglas. In fact, the entire program is loaded with Grammy "gold." Collectively, the artists appearing in this dazzling display of talent and virtuosity have accumulated over 60 Grammy Awards covering pop, rock, blues, bluegrass, folk, classical and country categories and sold more than 35 million albums.
