The Democratic National Convention In Philadelphia, Day 1
Following an eventful Republican National Convention in Cleveland and Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz's announcement of her resignation as Democratic National Committee chair Sunday, the Democrats finally take the stage in Philadelphia this week.
The Democratic National Convention starts Monday and will continue through Thursday. U.S. Sen. Bernie Sanders of Vermont and first lady Michelle Obama will speak opening night.
