Celebrating 25 years as one of Ireland’s leading traditional bands

A traditional band with a truly worldwide reach, Téada has appeared as a frequent headliner at major music festivals throughout Europe, North America, Asia, Africa, the Middle East and Australia.

Highlights include a 30,000-capacity stadium concert in Brittany, along with performances at Rainforest World Music Festival & Penang World Music Festival in Malaysia, Edmonton Folk Festival in Canada, Harare International Festival of the Arts in Zimbabwe and World Music Festival Taiwan. In 2014 the band performed to 40,000 people during an extensive 7-week tour of Japan / Taiwan.

Joining Téada on stage will be San Diego’s own Rose Academy of Irish Dance, whose champion instructors have been sharing the tradition of Irish dance throughout the region for more than three decades. Experience the excitement of stunning costumes, lightning-fast footwork, and infectious rhythms as these talented dancers bring the spirit of Ireland to life in a vibrant collaboration with one of the world’s premier traditional Irish bands.
