“BLAZING SADDLES” (1974. 93 minutes. Rated R) - Mel Brooks delivers a delirious blizzard of irreverent gags, puns and assaults on good taste in this ribald sagebrush satire. Cleavon Little is the newly hired black sheriff of the western town of Rock Ridge who teams up with deputy Gene Wilder to foil the railroad-building scheme of the nefarious Hedley Lamar. Co-starring Madeline Kahn and Harvey Korman.
