COOK'S COUNTRY FROM AMERICA'S TEST KITCHEN features the best regional home cooking from across the country. The series, like the successful Cook’s Country magazine, approaches food in the same practical, no-nonsense way. In a renovated 1806 farmhouse, the cast scientifically re-imagines family-friendly recipes for the modern home cook.

Cooking 101

These comprehensive cooking guides will teach you the core techniques behind classic American dishes. You will also learn what equipment and which ingredients are absolutely essential in the preparation of these classic recipes. Each guide also lists our all-time best recipes so you can find just the recipe you want.

In season four, test kitchen chefs Bridget Lancaster, Julia Collin Davison and Erin McMurrer deconstruct each recipe to reveal secrets for foolproof cooking at home.

The Tasting Lab's Jack Bishop once again challenges host Christopher Kimball to live tastings and resident equipment expert Adam Ried returns to reveal the test kitchen's top recommendations for immersion blenders, multi-timers, pastry brushes, slow cookers and more.

Kimball also introduces short documentary segments about America's food history and later, shares test kitchen tips and techniques designed to make home cooking easier.

"Road Food At Home" - Bridget uncovers the secrets to perfect Slow-Cooker BBQ Brisket. Then, Adam reveals his top picks for slow cookers.

Next, Chris visits Harpoon Brewery to discover the best beers for cooking. And finally, Julia shows Chris how to make the ultimate Beer-Battered Onion Rings.
