Putin Pushes Medvedev as Successor

Russian President Vladimir Putin is backing a long-time ally to become his successor in next year's presidential election. Putin says first Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev's would keep Russia on the same course of the past eight years. Madeleine Brand talks with NPR's Greg Feifer from Moscow.
