President Obama today kicked up a notch the warnings against Gadhafi, cautioning the Libyan leader that the United States and its allies are willing and able to use military force if necessarily. USA Today reported that after meeting with Australian Prime Minister Julia Gillard, Obama told reporters:

According to the Associated Press, Libyan protesters have been targeted for numerous airstrikes today, upping the ante for international involvement. There's also the humanitarian crisis at the Libyan and Tunisian border. Obama said today that the United States has sent $15 million in aid to help the refugees fleeing Libya.
