Gary Sinise Presents Travis: A Soldier's Story

Actor, musician and humanitarian Gary Sinise will host a special screening Tuesday evening of the documentary "Travis: A Soldier's Story" at the Village Theater in Coronado.
The film follows the journey of quadruple amputee Travis Mills as he recovers from devastating injuries he suffered in Afghanistan.
After the screening, audience members can participate in a Q&A session with Travis Mills, Gary Sinise, and the Naval Medical Center San Diego Team.

Proceeds from the event will go towards building a Smart House for Mills through the Gary Sinise Foundation's R.I.S.E. (Restoring Independence Supporting Empowerment) Program.
Mills is one of only five quadruple amputees to survive the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. He was on his third tour of duty in Afghanistan when lost both arms and legs to an improvised explosive device blast on April 10, 2012.
