The effort began after a former Afghan interpreter was detained after his San Diego asylum hearing this month.

Marine Corps Lance Cpl Eryk “Bo” Vencill, 21, was killed July 5 in a car crash in Perry Township, Ohio. The Camp Pendleton-based Marine was on leave visiting family when the accident took place.
