Sometimes ambiguous wire-tapped phone calls are a key part of the prosecution's case in the terrorism trial of accused al-Qaida operative Jose Padilla and two co-defendants. Padilla, Adham Hassoun and Kifah Jayyousi are charged with operating a cell in south Florida that supported Islamic jihadists fighting in Bosnia, Kosovo and Chechnya. The Miami trial is in its fourth week.
