MAKE Projects Pop Up Dinner will be held on the evening of October 24th at 6 p.m. This 4-course dinner event will celebrate Haitian cuisine infused with the rich flavors of San Diego farms and seas. Founded in 2017, MAKE Projects provides paid work experience and coaching to refugee and immigrant women facing employment barriers. It believes in the power of food to unite diverse communities, encouraging conversations around culture, history, and commonality. This dinner will feature San Diego-caught Spiny Tail Lobster and other Haitian-inspired dishes. This event highlights Make Project's year-long collaboration with Haitian participants in its job readiness program, embodying the love and hope they’ve brought to MAKE Projects.
