The 44th Annual Adams Avenue Street Fair features 75 musical acts on six stages and is scheduled from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 19, and from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 20, 2026. Southern California’s largest free two-day music festival is held on 10 city-blocks in the community of Normal Heights. 2026 headlining performers are: Singer/songwriter/multi-instrumentalist/producer Bardo, influential American rapper and record producer Masta Ace, legendary blues guitarist Chris Duarte Group, accordion driven American Cali-Mex roots band Los Fabulocos, dub-hop and world music collective band Boostive, haunted bossa nova and exotica band Creepxotica, party psychedelic rock band the Wild Wild Wets, San Diego’s original brass band Euphoria Brass Band, “Queen of boogie woogie” Sue Palmer & Her Motel Swing Orchestra, beer-soaked, full-tilt rock ‘n’ roll band the Midnight Rivals. An intimate collection of stories based on the best-selling book by Ilene Beckerman, as well as on the recollection of the Ephron's friends. This fun show is written by Nora and Delia Ephron who wrote "Sleepless in Seattle," "You've Got Mail!," "Julie & Julia," and many others. The play is in “Readers Theatre” format about women, clothes and memory, covering all the important subjects: mothers, prom dresses, mothers, buying bras, mothers, hating purses, mothers and why we only wear black. The memories trigger funny and often poignant stories that all can relate to. All tickets at $20. Bring an item of gently loved clothing to the box office and receive a $5 discount. A true story of laughter, love and a little cheek. A Yorkshire women’s club decides to take an unconventional route with their coming year’s fundraising calendar – rather than their typical photos of spectacular views of local landscapes or churches, it’s going to be photos of spectacular views of their own members wearing next to nothing! Their reasoning for the risqué move is honorable but it takes much convincing and plenty of liquid courage to capture each calendar girl pose month-by-month. This play blends humor, heart, and empowerment, telling the true-inspired story of ordinary women discovering courage, friendship, and self-acceptance along the way. "Calendar Girls" contains adult themes and language. There are scenes with hidden partial nudity. This production is best suited for those over the age of 13 and is presented by special arrangement with Concord Theatricals.
