It’s Leo Summer Season! beat the heat indoors with a tropical-themed dance social and learn some new moves with Michelle! There will be food to share and coconut water provided. On Sunday, September 27, the Encinitas Chamber of Commerce and Visit Encinitas will celebrate the 30th anniversary of the beloved Encinitas Oktoberfest - a free, family-friendly coastal twist on the traditional German festival that has become one of Southern California's most unique fall events. Held in the laid-back beach town of Encinitas, the annual celebration blends authentic Bavarian traditions with distinctly California cool. Think steins of German beer, sizzling bratwurst, live oompah music, artisan shopping, a dog costume contest, craft beer gardens, kids' activities, dancing in the streets, and thousands of festivalgoers celebrating under sunny coastal skies. More than 10,000 attendees are expected for this year's milestone event, which spans several blocks and transforms Encinitas into a vibrant open-air festival celebrating both the city's German roots and its eclectic surf-town personality.
