The San Diego Automotive Museum will be hosting a garage sale on Saturday, July 30, 2022, from 7:00 am to 10:00 am at its storage facility in National City, located at 600 West 12th Street, 91950. Items for sale will include a wide variety of vintage tools and parts, both large and small. Vintage tool items include a hydraulic pipe bender, an English wheel, drill presses, electric cutoff, multiple rolling toolboxes, and so much more. The vintage parts for sale include parts for an Austin Healey 3000, 1980s Mercedes-Benz, and 1930s Cadillac, along with 1950s body panels and engine components, a set of “new” 1980s Ronal wheels, and many other treasures for a vintage-car restoration project. Emma Willmann headlines Laugh Factory San Diego! About this event ADHD, DYSLEXIC, GENDER WIGGLY, STEP GETTER Emma Willmann is one of New York City’s top comedians, and perhaps one of the only dyslexic-gender-wiggly-comics-with-ADHD from Blue Hill, Maine. In third grade, Mrs. Weller would bribe Emma with the chance to tell a story at the end of every class if Emma promised to stop talking to the other classmates. Now, Emma gets to tell stories nightly at The Comedy Cellar, on Netflix’s: The Comedy Line Up, Comedy Central, and is one of the few comics ever to have multiple appearances on The Late Show with Stephan Colbert. All of which has earned Emma a spot on Caroline’s 10 Funniest Comics, Just For Laughs: New Faces, and TimeOut’s 10 Funniest Women in NYC. Emma’s mom is “really proud of all of this but doesn’t like comedy.” Additionally, Emma is an actor and writer best known for playing the role of Beth on Crazy Ex-Girlfriend and also featured on Paramount Plus’s The Good Fight, Judd Apatow’s Crashing, MTV, and TruTV. Emma also has a chart-topping podcast, Inside The Closet and is a regular on The Taylor Strecker Show. Emma tells stories everyday on Instagram and TikTok, several of which have gone viral and earned a total of 450,000 followers (although we’re pretty sure Mrs. Weller isn’t one of them). Mark your calendar, you won’t want to miss the Uncorked Wine Festival at the Del Mar Thoroughbred Club on Saturday, August 13. Sip from 100 wines and champagnes from around the globe, sample top local food vendors and enjoy music all while trackside watching the races from the Stretch Run section. VIP admission begins at 1 p.m. and includes an extra hour of tasting with special pours from select wineries. General Admission starts at 2 p.m. and the event ends at 5 p.m. Both ticket types include all wine tasting, admission to the track. This event is 21+. This event benefits local nonprofit Urban Surf 4 Kids, which helps kids from at-risk backgrounds and foster kids through water and surf therapy.
