Returning Saturday, Dec. 13, 2025, this beloved community celebration highlights dogs, cats, and even more unique pets as the Gaslamp “decks the paws” for a howl-iday to remember. The Parade Check-in begins at 11 a.m. under the iconic Gaslamp Quarter Archway, where participants can also register their pets for the judging contest. A panel of experts will award prizes in categories like Best Christmas Spirit, Best Matching Costumes, and the coveted Best in Show. At 1 p.m., the parade sets off beneath the Archway, weaving through the historic Gaslamp Quarter with festive live music, cheering onlookers, and plenty of holiday spirit. Expect to see Santa Paws, dazzling costumes, and even pets dressed as your favorite movie characters in fur-form! Pups in the Pub Party After the parade, keep the tails wagging at the Pups in the Pub Party from 2–4 p.m. at the Hilton San Diego Gaslamp Quarter.
