Explore media, techniques, & creativity in a supportive, skill-building environment. Celebratory Food Paintings: Create luscious, textured food paintings in this art workshop! Inspired by paintings of the past, from Dutch Baroque banquet paintings to Wayne Theobald's opulent high-key paintings, you will use heavy paint mixed with modeling paste to create your own culinary delight on canvas. All supplies and light refreshments for each workshop are included in the cost. A break for lunch and relaxed discussion will occur midday. Michelle Shofet weaves an ecological ritual in the food forest and mountain bard Heavy Meadow shares improvised earth songs.
