The MiraCosta College Symphony Orchestra (MCCSO) invites you to join us for an evening with the incredibly talented young artist winners of the MTAC of San Diego’s concerto competition. Multiple soloists will join the orchestra for an amazing display of poise and virtuosity. The MCCSO will complete the evening with Mussorgsky’s “Pictures at an Exhibition.” We look forward to sharing a wonderful weekend of music with you! Directed by Maestro Branden Muresan. This program will be facilitated by Art and Design Studio Toshwerks. Participants will customize a terra-cotta flowerpot with designs inspired by the Chinese Zodiac. To complete the craft, a jade succulent will be planted in the decorated pot. All materials will be provided. This class is geared to adults aged 18 and older; however, teens are welcome to register. Registered adults may bring children to assist them in creating the craft, but children cannot register independently for this program.
