Lionfish Modern Coastal Cuisine, located at Pendry San Diego in downtown’s bustling Gaslamp Quarter, will serve a heroic lineup of comic book-inspired cocktails, available throughout Comic-Con International from Thursday, July 23 through Sunday, July 26. Guests can fuel their inner superhero with a trio of specialty cocktails inspired by iconic characters, including the PETER PARKER, a Spider-Man-inspired shot made with white rum, blue Curaçao, lime and coconut foam, priced at $15. The BRUCE WAYNE, a black-hued cocktail made with vodka, Chambord Liqueur, lemon, simple syrup, activated charcoal and topped with a lemon wedge, priced at $21; and the STEVE ROGERS, a tribute to Captain America crafted with cognac, allspice dram, Cherry Heering, honey and lemon, priced at $21. Whether fueling up before hitting the convention floor or winding down after a day of cosplay and panels, guests can pair the themed cocktails with Lionfish’s menu of fresh-catch seafood, prime meats, locally sourced ingredients and signature coastal fare. On Saturday, July 25, 2026, the Julian Chamber of Commerce is co-hosting the 10th Annual "Sip of Julian." The Sip features many of Julian’s alcoholic beverage purveyors. Proof that we’re not just about apples and great pie, we have growers and producers of wine, craft beer, craft cocktails, and delicious hard cider, offering up a sampling of their delicious hand-crafted specialties. As in previous years, the event runs from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. and gives tasters time to enjoy their samples paired with small bites at each venue, take in the scenery, and spend a relaxing day enjoying the sights and sounds of Julian. Ticket holders enjoy a self-guided day throughout Julian to visit the various participating locations. in 2026, we are offering an old school style shuttle service. We have two school busses with professional drivers that will make continuous loops along the Sip Trail.
