Ages 5-12. Students in this course will develop the skills and confidence to draw portraits from observation. Over the course of the class, young artists will learn how to draw accurate proportions of the face, understanding the relationships between features to capture a true likeness of their subjects. As they refine their technical abilities, students will also develop their own artistic eye and focus on bringing their subjects to life on the page. Comic-Con Museum hosts this Science on Screen event! A panel of experts discusses reanimation, explosives, and the torture devices so beloved by the Addams Family, followed by a screening of the 2019 animated film. The panel begins at 2 p.m. and the movie at 3 p.m. There will be time for audience Q&A!
