  • It’s always 5 o’clock somewhere and every Thursday from 4 to 6 p.m., it’s Yappy Hour at Margaritaville Hotel San Diego’s pup-friendly rooftop oasis, 5 o’Clock Somewhere Bar. Designed for both locals and hotel guests, Yappy Hour is the perfect way to unwind with your four-legged friend, enjoy stunning views, and connect with fellow dog lovers over great drinks. Yappy Hour features a specialty dog-friendly menu with playful “barktails” including the Pawgarita, a cucumber and ice blend with a cucumber garnish, and the Pupa Colada, made with coconut purée and topped with a treat garnish. Canine snacks include the Canine Crudité with fresh veggies, the Bark Burger made with a grilled beef patty, and the Paw-lickin’ Chicken, a grilled chicken breast that’s sure to please. The final Thursday of each month brings a themed experience, with September’s event set for Thursday, September 25. This month’s “Yappy Yoga” invites guests to bring their mats for a free, upbeat rooftop yoga session led by local pup yoga instructor Amanda Joy. The event also highlights adoptable dogs from the San Diego Humane Society, with photos and information on display. The first ten dogs to arrive will receive a complimentary signature Margaritaville bandana. Looking ahead to October, Yappy Hour will take a spooky turn with a Halloween-themed celebration on Thursday, October 30. The evening will include a dog costume contest, festive treats, and photo-worthy moments, like a Halloween pup parade. In true Jimmy Buffett fashion, it’s always 5 o’Clock Somewhere, pups included. Grab your four-legged companion and head to Margaritaville Hotel for some tail-waggin' fun!
