If you are a parent with concerns about your child’s physical, educational, or emotional development, we welcome you to attend this free parent resource fair. Do you want to make sure your child is hitting their milestones? Do you have questions about their speech, language acquisition, or hearing? Is your child physically disabled or neurodiverse? On Saturday, June 29 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., local artisans and crafters will showcase their unique creations from kitchen and home décor to cooking and gardening goodies, all in perfect timing for the family and friend gatherings happening this summer. Activities will include paper-flower crafting demonstrated by Teresita Garrido, creator of Teresita’s Flowers, and her daughter Xochitl, who will show the intricate technique passed down over three generations, with an opportunity for customers to make their own to take home (while supplies last).
