The skills taught in this class include: how to sew darts; sewing a lined welt zip; bias binding; and bag hardware installation. This bag is highly customizable. You will go home with the pattern and ready to practice new bag making skills. An alternative to the webbing strap could be repurposing an old belt, or from a bag you no longer use. Thrift stores are full of interesting belts and hardware to harvest from bags! This class is appropriate for a sewer with knowledge of how to use a sewing machine and sewing basics.
