Jeremy Denk is one of America’s foremost pianists, proclaimed by The New York Times as “a pianist you want to hear no matter what he performs.” He joins music director Rafael Payare and the San Diego Symphony at The Rady Shell for closing night of our 2023-24 season, performing Beethoven's sublime Piano Concerto No. 4 in a concert that also features Stravinsky’s complete ballet score to The Firebird. It all comes down to exactly how to load your brush and then apply that to your surface. I will show you how to get that opaque look using a series of basic strokes that you build up together to get one cohesive look. In this class, you will learn how to use a Round 2 brush for every stroke. We will practice on my special reusable worksheets, and then move on to our project surface of tiny canvases to create magnets that will showcase your work.
