Come celebrate National Tennis Month! San Diego Tennis Fest is a FREE afternoon of fun tennis games and on-court clinics for people of all ages and ability levels, from beginners to seasoned players. With 25 tennis courts being used at Balboa Tennis Club (2221 Morley Field Dr., San Diego, CA 92104), there are over 70 teaching pros from around San Diego County, many of which are RSPA/USPTA certified. New this year, many more adult beginner clinic courts, specially designed to help new adult players master the fundamentals—technique, movement, grips, and smart shot selection. This is a perfect opportunity to have your family and friends try tennis! Tennis Fest Schedule: 11 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.: Beginner adult class #1 11:30 a.m. - 3 p.m.: Multiple racquet vendors will be on hand to provide product demos and information on court. 11:30 a.m. - 4 p.m.: Clothing vendors and other local business vendors will be on hand to help celebrate tennis. 1 p.m. - 2:30 p.m.: Beginner adult class #2 1 p.m. - 3 p.m.: RSPA/USPTA teaching pros and volunteers from all around San Diego gather for on-court clinics, skills and strategy for beginners to seasoned players. 3 p.m. - 4 p.m.: Intros, Ben Press award ceremony, an exhibition match, and opportunity drawing giveaways (must be present to win) are also part of the day.
