Grab your lederhosen and dirndl and get fitted for the 7th annual East Village Oktoberfest celebration! This year, Quartyard has partnered with the East Village Association to host the largest celebration to date, transforming East Village into a modern faced Oktoberfest activation with one-of-a-kind Latin flair for the evolving East Village community. Taking place on Saturday, September 30 from 1p.m. -7 p.m., the German themed event infused with Mexican verve will feature endless craft beer, traditional Oktoberfest faire, live Polka music and tribute bands, a classic car show and tons of games encouraging guest interaction and maximum fun. Amping up in scale, this year’s event will close off Market Street between Park Boulevard and 14th Street allowing for more San Diegans to join in the fun. While enjoying live musical performances including traditional Polka music, tribute bands and tunes with a Latin flair, attendees will sample a variety of the best and local brews from the Quartyard taps along with traditional German faire.
