  • The Skin Cancer Foundation’s Destination Healthy Skin RV is back for its sixth year, and will be in Encinitas, CA on Thursday, July 6th. The Foundation’s 38-foot RV, customized with two private exam rooms, will travel around the country from May to September. Inside the RV, local dermatologists provide free full-body skin cancer screenings, which are first come, first served from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. Participants will also receive educational materials and sun protection samples. Dr. Melanie Palm, San Diego-based board-certified dermatologist and cosmetic surgeon, has donated her time and services to the Foundation and will conduct the screenings. Volunteer physicians are all practicing, local dermatologists.
