This month, we welcome NOAMZ, a flutist, vocalist, multi-instrumentalist, and producer based in LA making alt music Get to know NOAMZ She was raised first-gen in a small town in Wisconsin by a Guadeloupean mother and French father. She performed at SXSW this year, has over 2M+ views on her flute beatbox videos on TikTok and Instagram. She is featured on countless radio stations and playlists across the country —WORT, 88.9 Milwaukee, Café con Ritmo, Electro Chill Pop, Mood Boosters…— and the Senegalese soccer anthem, and was recently Editorial Playlisted on Apple Music and Spotify. NOAMZ released her self- produced EP TEXTURES June 1st that explores the DnB and UKG soundscape and mixed identity. She released her ambient project Retrouvaille July 22nd to help heal the souls of those who need it <3 She performs regularly across the country, and especially in SoCal, where she is currently based, on her solo project and also with her flute quartet, Black Flute Brigade About Studio Sessions. Studio Sessions is a project launched in 2023 by Future Is Color® as a tangable extension of the mission to create space for conversation and dialogue around collective liberation.
