  • The Poway Symphony Orchestra's final concert of the season will be a return to "Classical Gems" on Sunday, May 26, 2024. Noted pianist Dr. Ching-Ming Cheng will be the soloist for the delightful Piano Concerto in A minor, Op 54 by Robert Schumann. Dr. Cheng, an award-winning music professor and chair of the music department at California State University San Marcos, has performed as soloist with numerous ensembles nationally and internationally. The concert will also include the Overture to “Marriage of Figaro” by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and Symphony 104 in D major by Franz Joseph Haydn.
