  • Distinction Gallery is thrilled to announce the opening reception of “The Resilient Edges", a solo show by Escondido beloved artist Kelly Vivanco. Vivanco has become one of the most sought after and collected artists with a global collection base and following. Vivanco draws from the real and imagined world to populate her works with a host of playful and curious characters. She takes inspiration from vintage photographs, children's literature and the oddness of her dreams.   • The 8th Annual Island Vibe Music Festival is a one-day event that incorporates musical performers from across the Pacific Islands including Polynesia, Micronesia, and Melanesia. The event will also feature unique cultural dancers, a vendor village showcasing Islander–inspired merchandise, art, apparel and the taste of the Islands with mouth-watering foods.
