For our spring concert, Kearny Mesa Concert Band will present a wide range of musical selections that will bring out the best in our emotions, filling the audience with a renewed sense of joy, sorrow, and hope for brighter days ahead. Selections will include an impressive song written the romantic style by Rossano Galante, music from the motion picture Saving Private Ryan by film composer John Williams, and a piece composed in memory of those who lost their lives at Columbine High School by Frank Ticheli, plus many more. About Kearny Mesa Concert Band Founded in 1972, the Kearny Mesa Concert Band is the longest continuously playing community band in San Diego County. Kearny Mesa Concert Band is offered as a tuition-free continuing education class of the San Diego Community College District.
