The event will be co-hosted by the City of San Diego and Campesinos Unidos, inc., and will help low-income families apply for up to $15,000 to pay their water or sewer bills through a federal program called Low Income Housing Water Assistance Program (LIHWAP). Attendees must bring their current water bill, proof of household income for the past four weeks, a copy of a government-issued photo ID, proof of non-cash benefits, state, and federal help (SNAP, EBT, IHSS, SSI, SSDI) in order to apply.
