Each week, students will build on the skills learned the previous week as we broaden our step vocabulary. Students will also learn about major figures and influences in tap dance history.   • Zolna Yachts is launching Nerissa Sounds, an intimate live music series hosted aboard their 73-foot yacht, to celebrate the season. Created by husband-and-wife team Shari and Amos Zolna, the series is designed to feel like a “secret concert at sea,” with just 49 guests on board for each cruise. The series launches Friday, August 15, from 7 – 9 p.m., with an evening of live Latin jazz, a curated coastal dinner menu, and sunset views during the 2-hour cruise. Limited to just 49 guests, Nerissa Sounds offers a rare opportunity to experience intimate performances by local artists in an elevated setting on the water. The debut event will feature San Diego Music Awards-nominated saxophonist Charlie Arbelaez and his four-piece Latin jazz ensemble. In addition to the live music, guests will enjoy a Champagne toast, curated buffet-style dinner by chef Joann Stabile, and a full cash bar as they cruise past some of San Diego’s most iconic coastal views.
