Join us on June 28 from 8 a.m. - 11 a.m. at Forester Creek in Santee for our monthly Community River Clean-up! Come work outdoors with like-minded members of the community to help remove thousands of pounds of trash in just three hours! Each year, San Diego River Park Foundation volunteers remove more than 200,000 pounds of trash from our namesake waterway. Without our amazing volunteers, this trash would be left to pollute native animal habitats, parks and public spaces, leach contaminants into the water, and wash out into our ocean and beaches! Location: 8665 Argent Street, Santee CA 92071. Please park anywhere on Argent St or Prospect Ave. Please do not park in the brewery parking lot. Here are a few tips to help you prepare for the event: - Check-In: 7:45 a.m. - Attire: Long pants and closed-toe shoes are required - All tools and supplies will be provided - Other Things to Bring: Reusable water bottle, hat, other forms of sun protection - Weather: Light rain will not cancel the event - For safety reasons, no pets are allowed at this event - There are no restroom facilities at this location. We are no longer working a shuttle from the surrounding areas but we do support rideshare programs and have designated drop off/pick up locations.
