For the past 25 years, Andrea Feier, a Julliard trained dancer herself, has led SDCDA. Collage is held over the first three weekends of February. “I love how the City makes dance accessible and affordable to anyone who wishes to participate,” said Andrea. “The passion of the dance staff who have found their calling teaching for this program and have made it their life's work teaching for Civic Dance Arts is incredible. Working with dance staff and other City workers dedicated to making a difference in people’s lives is inspiring.” The passion her staff have for the program is evident. Andrea noted that several of her team members have worked with the program for over 20 years, and Dance Recreation Leader Kathy Landry is in her 44th year of service. “We have been changing lives one step at a time.
