A three-judge panel of the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals vacated U.S. District Judge Cynthia Bashant's Oct. 15 order denying South Bay United Pentecostal Church's request for a preliminary injunction and ordered further consideration of its request.

There were 26 coronavirus deaths announced Tuesday by the San Diego County Health & Human Services Agency, one of the highest daily totals.

The measure sets a minimum pack size and a minimum price for sales; allows the county to enforce minimum age laws and a previously adopted ban on flavored tobacco products; and prohibits the sale of tobacco products at pharmacies.

The latest in-custody death comes on the heels of news that a sheriff’s deputy was arrested for allegedly having illegal drugs on county jail property.

Officials with the U.S. Department of Transportation issued a statement in response to Southwest's cancellations, noting that the department will be looking into the situation.
