This is not like the attempt to impeach former President Bill Clinton. To my knowledge, no one ever died from oral sex in the Oval Office. No semen received a folded American flag for dying in service to the president.

So why doesn't the average San Diegan vote, that's the real question. & For me, it is simply bad timing on a move, but why do most not vote? & Yes, I know the lackluster answers of no time and not knowing where to vote at... & But to be honest I think it really boils down to the fact most San Diegans simply don't care enough to vote.

This was a rather informative video. But, it brought back a lot of painful and scary memories. During the fires, I was listening to KPBS non-stop, and had the car packed JUST in case we had to evacuate. The TV was muted, showing videos from around the county, and I welcomed my birthday in complete terror as I watched the Eastlake fire inch closer and closer.

At first, I was perplexed by this. I mean, I want cheap gasoline. Then I read their reasons, and I could see their main point --that we'd never SEE this price cut, and the 'tax cut' would just equal to higher profits for oil companies. Can I have a hydrogen or electric car now, please? Pretty please?

So, while it is not much of a raise, I am pleased to see that our firefighters received one, nonetheless. And finally, two weeks ago, the city council got off their collective butts and gave the police a MUCH need raise, to boot!
