Several County Schools Closed Due To High Santa Ana Winds Forecast

Due to forecast high Santa Ana winds and possible power outages, several schools in the county will be closed Thursday.

The San Diego County Office of Education released a statement saying, "As conditions change, each school district will continue to monitor the local emergency situation and make school closure decisions on a day-by-day basis."

The following school districts will remain closed Thursday:

–Julian Union Elementary School District

–Julian Union High School District

–Spencer Valley School District

–Warner Unified School District
