Celebrate Sustainably: Food and Festivities Webinar

Did you know that Americans send on average 25% more to the landfill between Thanksgiving and New Year’s Day than at any other time of year?

During this festive time of year, commit to reducing your waste and join I Love A Clean San Diego and the City of San Diego for our free Celebrate Sustainably webinar series.

On Wednesday, Nov. 17th from 5:00 – 6:00pm in the first of the series, we will provide simple solutions to avoid the common influx of food waste that typically accompanies the holiday season.

Our Celebrate Sustainably: Food and Festivities Webinar will focus on ways to reduce the amount of waste we produce in our kitchens around big holiday meals. We will share tips on shopping with a plan, cooking root-to-stalk meals, recycling right, and disposing of cooking oils properly.

Come hungry for strategies you can begin practicing in your kitchen right away, and leave feeling inspired to live a zero waste lifestyle at all times of the year!
