This outdoor event features a reading of "'Twas the Night Before Christmas," cocoa and a performance of holiday tunes from the San Diego Gay Men's Chorus. It's a family-friendly event, and is also a drive to collect book or musical instrument donations. It's free, but you can register in advance online here.

Celebrate the holidays with La Jolla Music Society!
Enjoy a spiked cider or a classic hot cocoa while Riford Library’s Youth Services Librarian Katia Graham entertains with a reading of ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas and the San Diego Gay Men’s Chorus perform jazzy holiday tunes. Bring a book to donate to the Friends of the La Jolla Library or an instrument to donate to La Jolla Music Society’s afterschool program, the Community Music Center. You won’t want to miss seeing the Wu Tsai QRT.yrd transformed into a Winter Wonderland.
Doors Open at 5 p.m.
Storytime begins at 5:30 p.m.
Gay Men’s Chorus performance begins at 6 p.m.
Free cider and holiday treats will be provided by Cafe Coyote.

The Conrad Prebys Performing Arts Center
The Baker-Baum Concert Hall is an intimate performance space with superb acoustics ideally suited for chamber music and classical recitals. In addition, its design incorporates state-of-the-art technology and adjustable acoustics, making it a world class space for amplified concerts, film, dance, theatre, lectures, and more. A wooden grillage frames the elegant curvature to the seating area creating a shape reminiscent of a European opera house. Outside this framework, lighting washes the walls in color to create a sense of space beyond.
