Oh! what a year this has been and, ready or not, here comes another one. If you’d like to close out the old year and welcome the new in the company of a lively and friendly group of writers and seekers, come join us for our New Year’s Eve Writing Retreat and Celebration.
We’ll gather at 9 p.m. in the creative space of Inspirations Gallery and explore memories from the past and anticipations for the new. You can write to prompts that will be provided, work on your own project, or explore questions through readings with Tarot or Oracle decks, bibliomancy or other means (anyone read tea leaves?)—any or all. We’ll count down the minutes tilmidnight and welcome the New Year with toasts and maybe hugs (wear your mask!).
Making a wish for 2022, we’ll fire up our “wish paper” and maybe sing a chorus or two of “Old Lang Syne.” There will be treats, and you are welcome to bring goodies (and libations) to share.
