Join guest chef Yasmin Newman, author of the new book “Under Coconut Skies,” for a class that will transport you to the Philippines. With Yasmin as your guide, you’ll be immersed in Filipino food and culture and will get a primer on its foundational flavors and techniques.

As we make Fried Chicken with Banana Chili Catsup Glaze, you’ll learn about local ingredients, like kalamansi, the unique and punchy citrus fruit, and about how to make smart substitutions for that and other ingredients you may not have at home yet.
