During Black History Month, Voices for Children celebrates our Black communities as we uplift all of our foster youth. While Black youth only make up 15 percent of our national youth population, they represent nearly a quarter of all the youth in foster care. We need volunteers to advocate for their best interests.
Our trained volunteers collaborate with professionals to listen to our youth’s needs and ensure they have what they need to thrive. By giving 10-15 hours a month, you can make a world of difference for a local foster youth! Help us provide a trained advocate for every child who needs one.
