Third Sunday Craft: Images and Objects with Rich Farrell

Third Sunday Craft is a monthly gathering of creative writers that fosters support, inspiration, and community. More than craft classes, Third Sunday Craft will help you construct and sustain a writing practice. February, Images & Objects: Our writing is filled with images. What are those things? Where do they come from? Why do we put them into our work? What is the hidden meaning and message behind them? If the writer is a decision maker, as Steve Almond says, "then how do we understand what decisions to make?"

Pre-Class Assignment: Please bring your best description of an ordinary object in your home. Do not name the object you are describing, just describe it using sensory details. No more than one page please! Be prepared to share this with the group.
