The San Diego Early Music Society is thrilled to present the San Diego debut of Ensemble Jupiter in their first ever American tour, ending at Carnegie Hall.
Led by Tomas Dunford, “the Eric Clapton of the lute” (BBC Music Magazine) along side with mezzo-soprano Lea Desandre who “performs arias like a dove from heaven” (The Independent), Jupiter will bring exhilarating Vivaldi's arias and brilliant concertos for lute and for cello, sung and played by exceptional musicians from the newer generation of performers.
