Contemporary Chinese photographer Wang Qingsong explores the concept of evolution and how it affects culture in small communities as well as on a global scale.
Inspired by the Qingsong exhibition on view February 2–August 14, this special musical program performed by Art of Elan in the Museum rotunda includes folk music from around the world, taking listeners on a kaleidoscopic journey through time and space with music by American composer Lou Harrison, Turkish composer Erberk Eryilmaz, and Iranian composer Aftab Darvishi, among others.
