“SHADOW OF A DOUBT” (1943. 108 minutes)
Alfred Hitchcock brings a bumper crop of shivers in his subversive, tightrope taut thrust into the darkness in the heart of small-town America. A world-wise adventurer (Joseph Cotten) seeks refuge with his sister’s family in Santa Rosa. Soon his namesake niece (Teresa Wright) becomes suspicious of her cryptic uncle. Co-written by Thornton Wilder.
FILM FORUM CORONADO is held in the Winn Room at the Coronado Public Library twice a month, on the First and Third Wednesdays at 6 p.m. (NEW TIME) with a brief introduction of the film, followed by the film screening and a discussion afterwards, led by Ralph DeLauro.
This program is presented by Coronado Public Library, in partnership with Coronado Island Film Festival.
