Please come join us in conversation around a presentation from Christine Zoumas MS, RND with the Healing Foods Program at Moores Cancer Center.
Seven years ago, she developed the Healing Foods program at UC San Diego to ensure that all cancer patients, survivors, and their caregivers have access to evidence-based nutrition information. She has been working with cancer patients for 20 years with her research projects and her community and patient-based programs. Christine feels that nutrition is an essential part of cancer treatment, recovery, and a healthy lifestyle. She is also very passionate about translating dietary recommendations and promoting achievable behaviors that meet each client’s individual needs, preferences and lifestyle.
Come hear her speak not only about how to eat once diagnosed and in and after treatment but also on how to improve your chances at avoiding cancer in the first place or its recurrence as related to what and how you eat.
