The 2022 FanFest Road Opener Watch Party presented by Sycuan Casino Resort will take place on Thursday, April 7 at Petco Park. Fans can watch the Padres’ Road Opener on the videoboard with the Bally Sports San Diego broadcast beginning at 6:40 p.m. as we take on the Arizona Diamondbacks at Chase Field. Admission to the Padres FanFest Opening Day Watch Party is free, with fans required to redeem tickets.
4:30 pm: Padres Parking Lots Open
5 pm: Gates Open, Pregame Festivities to Begin
- Padres Foundation Garage Sale in Power Alley: 2022 Garage Sale featuring memorabilia, game-used player jerseys, batting helmets, one-of-a-kind Padres items, collectibles and more. All proceeds from the garage sale will benefit the Padres Foundation’s charitable efforts.
- Padres Alumni Appearances: Fans can enjoy a Q&A panel, limited autographs, and more from alumni including Padres HOF’er Trevor Hoffman, Randy Jones, and Mark Loretta.
- Kids Activities: Face painting, Play Ball Field with short clinic from Padres alumni, Kids Run the Bases, & Catch on the Field.
- Discounted Drink Specials & Food Samples: New concessions concepts will be open and available for fans to try! Additionally, select beers will be discounted to $5 for a 12 oz. pour through the 7th inning!
- Brown & Gold Merchandise: Ability to gear up for game day in the Padres New Era Team Store and numerous portables around the park.
- Tour Suites and Group Spaces: Be one of the first people to see our fully renovated suites, and check out group spaces that are fun for groups of 10-300+.

Members are eligible to receive a voucher for two free hot dogs and two 12 oz. drinks (either water, soda, or select beer) per account. Members can redeem this voucher through the MLB Ballpark App by singing up for PadresPay. PETCO Park
PETCO Park is spectacular in every way, combining the best sight lines in baseball with breathtaking views of San Diego. All 42,000 fixed seats are comfortable, with cup-holders and extra leg room. Seats down the lines are angled to the infield. The two upper levels are built on extended cantilevers, with the front of the Terrace Level only 34 feet above the field, creating a sense of intimacy reminiscent of the great old ballparks. The handsome and historic Western Metal Supply Company Building has been renovated and incorporated into the Ballpark, with the left-field foul pole attached to its southeastern corner, 336 feet from home plate. The 98-year-old structure houses the Padres Team Store on the first floor, with a door opening onto a standing room area in left field. The second and third floors feature festive Party Suites. A restaurant on the fourth floor provides terrace dining with superb views of the field. There is bleacher seating and standing room on the roof, 80 feet above the field. Located at the hub of the regional transportation system, with easy access by car, Trolley, the Coaster, bus and future water taxis, the Ballpark has ample parking and inviting promenades to and from your vehicle or public transit.
